Marx and Engels and the English Workers: And Other Essays
Publisher: Routledge | ISBN: 0714633348 | edition 1989 | PDF | 194 pages | 1,89 mb
The essays included in Parts I and II of this volume deal with aspects of the careers of Marx, Engels and List which were dealt with only briefly in my biographies of Engels and List. The chapter on “Marx and Engels and Racialism” was written in collaboration with the late Professor W.H.Chaloner. Part III brings together essays on the economic activities of Frederick the Great and Walther Rathenau as well as an account of the contribution of a German entrepreneur (H.E.Falk) to the development of the salt industry in England. I wish to thank Dr Douglas Farnie for checking the proofs of these essays.
